Patrick is a solar energy specialist with experience in specifying, procuring, and project managing solar power solutions for a range of commercial, institutional and industrial customers including Lend Lease, Woolworths, QANTAS, McDonalds and several Universities including UQ, QUT, UNSW, Flinders University and most recently, Adelaide University.
Patrick has significant energy storage experience having contributed to the design, delivery and operations of the world’s largest Virtual Power Plant consisting of 5MW of distributed batteries as part of an ARENA funded program delivered by AGL in Adelaide. Patrick provides policy advice to NSW Government on microgrids, distributed energy management and battery orchestration. In this role he frequently consults on the regulatory and wholesale market impacts of microgrid installations. Patrick also brings experience in senior Sales, Operations and Product Development roles gained in the energy and IT industries in Australia, the United Kingdom and Singapore.
Patrick has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management (Macquarie University), postgraduate qualifications in Sustainable Business Management (UniSA), and is completing a Masters of Science in Energy and Resources Management at University College London (UCL).
